mini-buildd-common software package provides minimal build daemon - 08x upgrade dummy package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mini-buildd-common
mini-buildd-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mini-buildd-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mini-buildd-common *
You will get with mini-buildd-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
